Ignite! has received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to support the engagement of schools and community groups in the Nottingham City Nature Challenge, and information on how schools still open and families learning at home can get involved is available via the Ignite! website (www.ignitefutures.org.uk).
There are plans for schools and youth groups to take part in a bioblitz later in the year when they reopen.
Ignite! are no strangers to working on projects in science, nature and the environment, and will be supporting the promotion of the project and creation of resources alongside direct support to schools and groups.
Keep your eyes on our news stories for updates as they happen - we are thrilled to be able to extend our participation in this manner, and to really focus on people taking part at all levels, skills and interests they may already have in identifying Nottingham's nature!
