Colwick Woods

Colwick Woods

Just a mile from the City Centre and you find yourself in the middle of this beautiful area, notable for both its exciting woodland to explore, its jaw-dropping viewpoints, its vast range of wildlife, and its historical features.  This city gem is ideal for a short walk or a whole day out.  There are both large areas of woodland and big open grassland spaces, and lots of places to explore!

Colwick Woods is managed by Nottingham City Council with the Friends of Colwick Woods.

A large park, with a variety of woodland and wetland habitats - including of course, the large lakes.  Not just a home to nature,  but also a local opportunity for trying out water sports!
